Photographer Athos Burez re-enacts "The Baths at Ostend" by James Ensor

Flemish photographer and artist Athos Burez created a contemporary interpretation of James Ensor's painting The Baths at Ostend, involving the inhabitants of the city of Ostend and turning them into the modern protagonists of the work.
The result is a large photographic work (100x140 cm) exceptionally exhibited next to the print that Ensor himself made of his original painting in 1899. Under the title James Ensor Recomposed the two works are exhibited, from 27 October to 10 January, at the Ensor House in Ostend.
